Apartment Review for 312 West 114Th Street - New York, NY

Avoid this place like the plague! I caught 15 mice during my nine-month tenancy and had to exterminate for bed bugs three times. (Just in case you're not from NYC and wondering, bed bugs are parasitic insects that hide in your bedroom, creep out at night, suck your blood, and go back into hiding.) The landlord refused to pay to have the bed bugs exterminated and I was out $500. My neighbors upstairs made noise all night every night, and I could not sleep. The landlord refused to do anything about it. My apartment was in total disrepair -- three holes in the ceiling -- and the super never fixed it. The landlord is an asshole. The place is a dump. I payed $1500 a month for it, and I would not come back if it were free.
