Apartment Review for 332 E 95Th St. - New York, NY

Where to start? The rat infestation in the basement? The recent armed robbery in the lobby we were told of? The lack of heat/hot water in the dead of winter? The hostile, inept management? Literally see/trip over multiple rats every night I come in and out of the building, as the rats going through the trash (which is often strewn all over the front of the building) or running across the sidewalk. One recent night all tenants were locked out and told to pick up a new key from a locksmith the next day... apparently a girl got attacked in the lobby and the assailant took her key. I'm sure it wasn't that hard for him to get in due to general disrepair of the building. Also, great way to address the situation.. lock everyone out of their homes late on Saturday night - I don't blame the one tenant who kicked the door in. I don't know if the interior has ever been cleaned. Oh, then there was the time it was 8 degrees outside and we didn't have heat for almost a week. Management addressed the situation by hanging up on us and then not picking up our calls. Not the first time they've hung up on us either! Every tenant I've spoken to hates this place. DO NOT RENT HERE!
