Apartment Review for Riverbank West - New York, NY

Although this towering mid-town apartment complex has excellent views of north and south Manhattan from midtown with zero obstructions - that's all it has going for it. The building maintenance is a bad joke - nothing gets done right considering that the tenants pay a minimum of $2,500 USD monthly. Also, the laundry room is horrible - the machines leave all sorts of unwanted lint and other unidentifiable materials on your clothes - not to mention that there is a serious problem with laundry cart theft which the building has done nothing to resolve during the past 3 years I've been here. The building also makes it extremely difficult for tenants to break their lease in some cases it's practically impossible - read those contracts carefully! Avoid this buidling - it's not worth all the trouble that the majority of tenants here have had - trust me. Feel free to come to the building and to question tenants entering and exiting the building - they'll tell you straight up.
