Apartment Review for Archstone 39 - New York, NY

The doormen and other staff are terrific but the place has become far less welcoming since Archstone took over the management from Related. It now has the feel of a corporate hotel and when we asked for certain basic accomodation from the office staff (i.e., a break on the gym membership etc.) we wree told that they "have an obligation to the shareholders of Archstone Smith." Seems to me that in a rental building, the company's obligation should be to the renters!! I would not receommend this place because you will feel uncomfortable in your own exorbitantly priced apartment.
