Apartment Review for Dwell On Wall - New York, NY

my roomate and i moved in here as it was opening..terrible start..due to non issuance of permits our move in was delayed...took them weeks to make sure all the fittings were in order..one elevator was still being fixed 14 months later when we moved out..i later heard that some floors were affected by water leakage as well...terrible dealing with management..always were slow to meet our requests and took more than 4 more to return our security deposit that to with undetailed deductions even though our apartment had been rated as being without damage or missing items when we moved out...there were three different building managers in the year we were there so clearly they cant seem to come to grips.otherwise the building is nice when things are working, breakfast is usually good except for the days they dont get fresh stock..the biggest pro is the guys who work their..doorman and workers all very polite and always helpful no complaints there..one more thing is that the walls are very thin..this used to be an old office building and the apartments have been made using temporary drywall..so be ready to listen to your neigbours 24/7.
