...keep looking elsewhere. There's many reasons not to even consider living here. Don't get caught up in the view of the river or the prospect of saving some money on a realtor fee. The people in the onsite leasing office are both rude and incompetent. Many units are donned with 20+ year old, inefficient appliances, for which the building has plenty of NOS parts on hand to keep repairing the outdated and costly fridges and dishwashers. We managed to ring up a $350 ConEd bill because we got a puppy and decided it would be best to leave the a/c on for him. Average bill through the summer months was $225, using the a/c and dishwasher sparingly. The units are extremely overpriced. The lobby frequently looks like a frat house on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Trash and empty beer bottles and solo cups litter the outdated ground floor. Their pet policy is extremely vague and not enforced from what I can tell. It's not uncommon to find graffiti on the walls, I've witnessed durogatory and sexist/racist statements left untouched for weeks at a time. I could go on and on, bottom line is avoid this place at all costs or you will regret it.
