Apartment Review for Stuyvesant Town - New York, NY

My apartment was renovated prior to my move-in. All fixtures and appliances were new. It is a beautiful apartment. However, for $2400/month for a one bedroom, I expected a lot more. The walls of the apartment are extremely thin which leaves you to the whim of your neighbors. I know when my next door neighbor turns on their TV. I can also hear the beep the elevator door makes when it opens when I am in my bedroom (the furthest point in my apartment away from the elevator). The management also charges $30 for letting you in if you've locked yourself out.
