Apartment Review for The Olivia - New York, NY

We have had no end of problems with the Olivia management. The manager refused to view urine coming in our window from people urinating out of windows above and told us to "close the window". It took days and numerous threats to get anything done.

Elevators are poor - often breaking and there are long cues. The building is very noisy at night.

Rent requests are often incorrect and it takes days of phone calls to get them altered.

Appliances are old and poor quality.

The management have attempted to make the building look "pretty" by numerous renovations but all that has happened is that tenants are inconvenienced and the rents have been raised.

Basically management do not care about tenants or staff - their website used to point out that they aimed to maximize rent from any building they owned - the description is now blocked by passwords.

DO NOT TRUST MANAGEMENT AND DO NOT MOVE IN!
